“I started training with Melanie 5 months after my daughter was born. I was eager to lose the baby weight and had become extremely frustrated because I’d been exercising regularly and was also following a very customised (and very expensive!) nutritional plan from my naturopathic doctor but was just not seeing any results. Even my ND couldn’t figure it out. I thought adding a personal trainer to my routine would help give me an extra push and stay motivated. I didn’t want to see a trainer at a gym because I find they mostly just put you on machines and take you around a circuit, which is boring and not very challenging.
Melanie is intense! I break a sweat in the first 5 minutes and often have to drag myself up my staircase when I get home and I definitely feel it all over the next day. She is also very knowledgeable about nutrition, so much so that a couple of sessions in, I decided to ditch my ND’s nutritional plan and follow her advice – and it worked! (and it was free! LOL) After only 2 months, I’m just about back to my old self again and in a couple more months, I think I will be in better shape than before. I’m so glad I found Melanie – if I hadn’t, I’d probably still be the same size, struggling, exhausted, and discouraged. Instead, I’m excited to keep with the program and anxious to finally go shopping for smaller clothes. Thank you Melanie!”
